This beauty is Mookie!
Mookie is a senior female pittie looking for a loving retirement home. She is estimated to be around 8 years old and is around 75lbs. Mookie came to WCHS in May of 2022. Since then, she has been living with us, waiting for her people to come.
Mookie is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and heartworm negative. Mookie keeps her kennel very clean, and rarely has accidents inside. She would likely need very little house-training.
Mookie loves to play with stuffed toys and chew on hard bones. She plays well at the shelter and doesn’t seem to have much destructive tendencies. She has her playful and energetic moments but is a couch potato for the most part.
Mookie walks great on a leash. She loves to take slow strolls and enjoy the sun on her fur!
Mookie is selective with other dogs. She seems to tolerate dogs with mild temperaments but is not a fan of highly energetic dogs. We are open to introducing Mookie to other dogs. Mookie cannot go into a home with cats.
